This very short video demonstrates the procedure for removing the front grille of the Volvo S 40 or Volvo V 50. Get a flat lever, in this case a knife. Place one hand in the center of the grill to hold it steady and use the knife to pry at four points on the lower part of the grill. In this way you will release the four clips of the grid. Carry out this operation, the grille will release in its lower part; to permanently remove it, just pull it towards you with the hand that held it still. Once removed, you will notice the four clip seats in the lower part and the four slots in the upper part.
