Let's look at removing the cover panel and side glass on a Fiat 500. Remove the securing screws from the fixed handle on the door panel, then unscrew the pins located in the plastic of the door opening lever. Take off the handle from the door panel, then use a lever to detach the trim panel.

Use the lever to remove the adhesive panel from the door, and unscrew the securing screws from the track where the side glass slides. Remove the side glass at the end of the disassembly.

Fit a new glass inside the door: screw the securing screws onto the sliding tracks.
