Operation: How to change engine oil on Fiat Punto

Let's see how to replace the oil and filter on a Fiat Punto. We lift the vehicle with a lifting jack. Unscrew the pin of the oil pan with a socket wrench (after removing the protective plastic panel), let the liquid flow into a container for disposal and screw the pin of the sump back on (unscrew the filter placed at flank). After removing the oil from the engine, we bring the car to the ground and raise the engine hood. Unscrew the filter from inside the engine compartment and replace it with a new one of the same type and size. We top up the engine with the new liquid.

Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD gearbox oil replacement

Let's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level!
