How to Change Engine Oil on a Fiat Punto

Here’s how to change the oil and filter on a Fiat Punto. Lift the vehicle with a jack. Unscrew the oil sump bolt using a socket wrench (after removing the plastic protective panel), drain the liquid into a disposal container, and refit the sump bolt (unscrew the filter located beside it with a socket wrench). After draining the oil from the engine, lower the vehicle and lift the bonnet. Unscrew the filter from inside the engine compartment and replace it with a new one of the same type and size. Refill the engine with new oil.
