For various reasons, you may need to remove the brake calipers. This need can arise from simply changing the brake pads to replacing the brake hose or refurbishing the brake caliper itself.

First, remove all the screws that attach the brake caliper to the vehicle's axle. Depending on the requirement, detach the brake hose, taking care to manage any fluid that may leak out. Often, the brake caliper piston may be difficult to activate.

In such cases, use some penetrating spray. Depending on the requirement, change the brake pads and reassemble everything in reverse order.

Where are the fuses located on the Renault Laguna?
