- Years 1980-2003 For various reasons there may be the need to remove the brake calipers. This type of requirement may arise from the simple change of the pads to the replacement of the brake hose or from the regeneration of the brake caliper itself. First remove all the screws that hold the brake caliper attached to the car bridge. Depending on the need, disassemble the brake hose paying attention to the liquid that escapes. Many times it can happen that the brake caliper piston is activated with great difficulty. In such cases, use an unlocking spray. Depending on the need, change the brake pads and reassemble everything in the reverse order.
