Replacing Brake Pads

Model: Fiat Panda 169, MK 2 - Years 2003-2012

Lift the vehicle and remove the wheel. Carefully detach the caliper by removing the two retaining clips, pushing them out of their seats. Open the cap of the brake fluid reservoir. Remove the worn pads to replace them with two new ones of the same type, but before installation, clean any dirt with a brush. Refit the bracket, cleaning and lubricating the fixing screws, then tighten them with a spanner. Reattach the caliper. The pad with the electrical contacts should be mounted facing inwards, ensuring the correct direction of travel. Realign the piston by pushing it inwards and check the adherence of the pads to the disc.
