Now that you have unlocked the central part containing the airbag, remove it, remembering to disconnect the power connectors and being cautious. Next, detach the hub from the central part using an appropriate spanner. You can now remove the steering wheel from its position and work on it as needed. Operation complete. For reassembly, follow the procedure in reverse, taking care.
