How to Change the Key Battery on a Fiat Tipo

Replacing the key battery on your Fiat Tipo is very simple and can be done yourself in a few precise steps. First, open the metal key using the designated button and detach the small front cover where the buttons are located using a flat tool or a screwdriver. Once opened, you can also remove the back part. After removing the rear cover, you will access the clip that holds the battery. Using a flat object, also the new battery, rotate the battery cover to access it. Now you can replace the flat battery and complete the operation by repositioning all the plastic inserts in reverse order.
