The adjustment nut for the handbrake cable is located just under the lever: to adjust it, you need to remove the end section of the centre tunnel that includes the cover boot for the lever. Once the lever is freed from the cover boot, lower the lever and, using a socket spanner, adjust the cable pre-tensioning nut to reduce the travel and make the activation of the device more instantaneous.

This adjustment is necessary to compensate for the wear of the shoes and the stretching of the cable over time.
