In the Fiat Freemont, the battery is positioned in an unusual place compared to other cars; however, removing and replacing it is not a complicated operation. First, lift the front left of the vehicle with a jack to remove the wheel. Then, remove the plastic rivets from the wheel arch using a flat-head screwdriver. At this point, with access to the battery, disconnect the two terminals using a 10mm spanner and unscrew the securing nut with a 13mm spanner.
