Instructions for Removing the Rear Bumper

Removing the rear bumper is very simple and does not require special tools or advanced skills. It is advisable to position the vehicle on a lift and use appropriate axle stands to remove the rear wheels and gain easier access to the bumper mounting bolts located just beneath the edge of the wing.
Once the rear wheels are removed, unscrew the bolts that secure the bumper to the support bracket along the edge of the rear wing; then move on to the screws located beneath the bumper itself and those along the rear boot closure line; at this point, you can remove the bumper by disconnecting the number plate light connector.
