To adjust and replace the gear cable on a Fiat Grande Punto, disconnect the battery and completely remove it from its housing. The cable is located near its housing and next to the cap for topping up the coolant. After properly lubricating it, the cable can be adjusted as shown in the tutorial or completely removed for replacement with a new one. After replacement, reinstall the battery, reconnect the cable, and close the bonnet.
