Adjusting the Handbrake on Fiat Grande Punto

If the handbrake on your Fiat Grande Punto isn't functioning as it should and you have a good level of DIY skills, you can carry out this operation yourself. In this brief video, you will find all the steps to complete the task in just a few minutes. The first step is to remove the cover that conceals the handbrake lever mechanism by pulling it outward, as it is not secured by any screws. At the base of the lever, there is a hex nut that holds a metal plate where the cables that lock the rear wheels converge. This nut controls the tension of the lever; tighten it properly with a 10 mm hex key until the handbrake is correctly adjusted, ensuring it holds the car after no more than 4 clicks.
