How to carry out maintenance on the Fiat Ducato X250 battery

The Fiat Ducato has a battery that can be topped up with distilled water, in order to make it last a little longer. This is not a common feature: batteries are usually sealed, and when they are exhausted, they are disposed of at an authorized center and that's it. These, on the other hand, are made to last a long time and can be recharged. Let's see how to do it. It accesses the battery compartment which is under the driver's mat. The cover is opened by unscrewing the 4 screws, then the battery cover is opened. We unclip the battery negative, which has a quick release. With a Phillips screwdriver, we unscrew its screws that hold the plate on top of the battery. We loosen the positive clamp bolt and slide out the entire plate, which includes various connections. We tie the plate with a thread to keep it up. With a wrench with a 13 bush, we unscrew the nut of the plate. With a dime, we open the caps, and check the levels. To be good level, the elements must be covered by at least 1 cm of distilled water. If they are not, inject the distilled water with a syringe and tube. Then we close everything starting from the plate, screw the two star screws, lower the plate and fit it near the positive pole. We check that it is firm and lock the clamp. We put the negative pole clamp back in place, put the hood back in place and close the floor compartment under the driver's feet. Job done!

How to Remove the Headlight Bulbs on a Toyota Rav4

Let's see how to remove the headlight bulbs on a Toyota Rav4. Open the bonnet by pulling the lever located at the bottom right of the dashboard and secure it. Locate the inspection cap (if present) on the headlight and remove it (located at the rear of the headlight). At this point, you will find the bulbs with metal clips; pull the bulb holders out of the headlight and extract the damaged bulb using a screwdriver and pliers. Fit the new bulb (ensuring it is the correct type and size), insert the bulb holder back into the headlight housing, and close the headlight with the inspection cap.
