How to Top Up Oil in a Fiat Panda

First, check the engine oil level as oil loses its quality over time and gets consumed. Check it every two months or after 1,200 miles. If the warning light comes on, stop and check the oil level with the dipstick, after a few minutes with the engine off. The car must be parked on a level surface; use a pair of gloves to avoid getting dirty and have a paper towel handy to clean the dipstick; then remove the dipstick, wipe it with the cloth, and reinsert it. Pull it out again and check if oil is needed. The oil level should be between the two marks. If necessary, top up with half a litre of oil. Choose an oil recommended by the manufacturer. Then, using a funnel, pour in the oil and close the cap.
