How to Remove Excess Engine Oil from the Reservoir

Let's see how to remove excess engine oil from the reservoir if, during an oil change, too much has been added. Obviously, we need to remove it because too much oil can damage the engine. This is a very economical method. You only need a 10 mm syringe and a compatible plastic tube. Remove the dipstick, then take your tube and insert it into the opening in place of the dipstick. The tube should be as long as the dipstick itself, then start to siphon. If the oil doesn't rise, you simply need a larger syringe: the YouTuber bought a 60 ml one for 2 euros. Measure with the dipstick and check the oil level. The job is complete.
