Replacing the Intake Manifold Gasket

Model: Fiat Punto MK 2, 188 - Years 1999-2011
Part: Engine

Before applying the new gasket to the intake manifold, thoroughly clean the gasket seating surfaces, both on the manifold side and the cylinder head side, to remove any dirt and deposits that could compromise the adhesion and sealing of the gasket; then insert the new gasket aligning it with the dowel pins on the cylinder head, position the manifold, and tighten the retaining nuts using a torque wrench. This is a steel gasket that does not require gasket sealant.
