First, turn on the ignition and within 10 seconds, press the accelerator pedal three times in quick succession.

Once the oil light disappears, switch off and then restart the ignition to complete the reset procedure. If you encounter any errors, you can repeat the steps from the beginning.

How to open the bonnet on a Volkswagen Golf?
