To reset the error memory of the ECU, follow these steps: obtain an ODB cable to connect the PC to the diagnostic socket of the vehicle's ECU, usually located on the left side of the dashboard. Use software that allows you to read the errors present in the ECU, such as "Fiat Multiecuscan". Start the vehicle, select the car model and ECU type in the program, then click "start" and wait for the connection to the ECU. The software will detect any errors, and if errors are present, click "clear errors" and the error light on the instrument panel will turn off.
