To replace the CV joint boot on a Fiat Punto, lift the car to access the bolts securing the corresponding wheel. Remove the wheel from its hub to access the boot's retaining clip. Detach this clip, and once the CV joint is removed from its housing, you can also take off the boot. This allows you to fit the new boot and reinstall the CV joint in its housing, then mount the wheel.
