How to Unlock the Automatic Gearbox of a Fiat Freemont
Model: Fiat Freemont
MK 1
- Years 2011-2016
If the engine fails to start for any reason, you cannot operate the gear lever to move it from the Parking position to Neutral, making it impossible to organise the movement of the vehicle. Designers have anticipated this situation, and all cars with automatic gearboxes feature a manual unlock system for the gear lever. In the case of the model in question, the unlock button for the gear lever is located beneath the armrest in the bottom of the glove compartment, next to the AUX socket. First, remove a plastic protective cap to access the red button that allows you to unlock the automatic gearbox lever.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow to Remove the Rear Wiper Blade on a Citroen C3
This guide shows you how to remove and replace the rear wiper blade on a Citroen C3. Grasp the rear wiper blade with your hands, gently pull the rubber from the moving blade (without breaking it), and slide it off the arm on the left. Fit the new wiper rubber onto the arm (if the rubber is original, you may need to adjust the length by cutting it as shown). Finally, lower the wiper arm onto the rear window and test the new blade by activating the rear wiper. It is always preferable to use original parts for better durability and quality. by ScegliAuto More videos
