How to Repair the Seatbelt Sensor on Fiat Grande Punto

If the seatbelt warning chime continues to sound even after fastening the seatbelt, and the warning light remains illuminated on the dashboard, there is an issue with the sensor integrated within the seatbelt buckle; open the plastic covers that encase the seatbelt buckle to access the sensor housing and unclip the sensor: the problem originates from the oxidation of the contacts, which should simply be cleaned with appropriate spray, and do not bypass the sensor as it compromises vehicle safety.
