It may happen that even when closed, the glove compartment door remains slightly open, protruding from the closure line of the dashboard. In this case, you need to adjust the lock to allow the hook to engage further forward and ensure the door fits perfectly against the closure line of the dashboard. Open the glove compartment door, loosen the fastening screws of the hook attached to the dashboard, and push it as far forward as possible while holding it in place as you tighten the screws. Additionally, bend it slightly forward with the help of pliers and close the door to check if the issue is resolved.
