It is important to buy the same model and ensure it is for petrol if needed. The second step is to start disassembling the upper part of the old cap to remove the white plastic pin located inside the cap. This pin houses the opening and closing mechanism of the cap. Once this part is removed, you can insert the new one. Simply open the purchased cap. Once the new mechanism part is inserted, the closure will function again.
