How to repair the 1.3 Multijet engine heat exchanger on Fiat?

Here’s how to repair coolant (water) leaks from the water-oil heat exchanger on the 1.3 Multijet engines of the Fiat group: to extract the heat exchanger, first remove the wheel, the inner wheel arch, drain the coolant from the system, and remove the water pump. At this point, replace the gasket, and you will need to purchase a new gasket (preferably original Fiat group), disassemble the heat exchanger, clean the gasket seat, and position the new one. Finally, reassemble all components in reverse order.
