Once these steps are completed, proceed to remove the protective panel to access the pump. Next, remove all the bolts securing the cover. Unfortunately, some nuts are stuck in the crankshaft pulley, so you will need to remove the timing belt and pulley to completely remove the cover. Once everything is removed, you can take out the water pump. Clean the area and install the new pump, then reassemble everything.
