Replacing the bulbs (T5 fitting) that illuminate the climate control knobs is very easy since the two knob assemblies are simply clipped into the centre console. Pull the knob assembly outwards, applying a small lever along the edge to aid removal.

Once removed, you will immediately see the bulb holder where the bulb is fitted: simply pull out the old bulb and insert the new one. Ensure it lights up correctly before refitting the knob assembly.
