Replacing the Remote Battery for a Fiat 500

The remote that opens and closes the doors of the Fiat 500 is powered by a battery that depletes over time and use. Here’s how to replace it. Press the button that releases the emergency key and use a thin tool to pry along the edge of the remote, on the side opposite the buttons. Once the shell is removed, use a coin or something similar to unscrew the cover protecting the CR2032 battery. Remove the old battery and replace it with a new one, ensuring correct positioning. Screw the cover back on and reassemble the remote shell.
