How to Change the Engine Air Filter on the Fiat Stilo

Model: Fiat Stilo MK 1 - Years 2001-2010
Part: Air filter

Replacing the engine air filter on this model is quite unusual, as the box containing the filter (air box) is not connected inside the engine bay as is the case for almost all car models, but is located beneath the engine bay, near the front right wheel (passenger side): to perform the replacement, you must lift the vehicle on a ramp; once you locate the filter box, disconnect the vapour recovery pipe, unclip the metal tabs securing the cover, and move it just enough to extract the old filter and insert the new one.
