How to change engine oil and filter on a Fiat Stilo? Follow this guide to proceed with the replacement. Lift the car on a jack and unscrew the bolt from the oil sump; allow the fluid to drain into a disposal container. Open the car's door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the bonnet and secure it. Using a strap spanner, loosen the large oil filter. Remove the oil filter from inside the engine compartment and position a new one. Finally, top up with new fluid and close the bonnet.
