Replacement of the Front Brake Pads

Model: Fiat Punto MK 2, 188 - Years 1999-2011
Part: Brake pads

Remove the wheel and carefully detach the caliper by removing the two retaining bolts with a ratchet spanner. Disconnect the electrical contacts and clean any dirt with a wire brush. Remove the worn pads and replace them with two new ones of the same type. Refit the bracket, cleaning and lubricating the fixing bolts, then tighten them using a torque wrench. Reattach the caliper. The pad with the electrical contacts must be fitted facing inwards, paying attention to the direction of travel. Realign the piston by pushing it inwards and check the adhesion of the pads to the disc.
