How to solve the problem of the stuck reverse gear on the Fiat Scudo

In this video we can see how to solve the problem of the reverse gear of the Fiat Scudo getting stuck; in fact, the ring that is used to put the reverse gear on gets stuck. We pull off the knob, pulling towards us decisively, then we remove the boot and the ring: we see that by going up and down it creates friction, so the thing to do is to sandpaper it in order to make the support on which the ring will slide smoother. We do a test by reinserting it and see that it moves much more freely (of course, we must not remove the seat, otherwise it won't work anymore). We spray some vaseline, then we reassemble the ring, the boot and the knob, and the problem is solved.
