Replacement of the gear shift boot of the Fiat 500 312

To give a more personal touch to the interior of the Fiat 500, we can replace the gear shift boot with a more attractive one. To remove the old one, start by removing the top cap, where the gear shift pattern is located, using a cutter. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the nut at the top of the lever, remove the knob and the spring underneath. Release the base of the boot and lift it to reveal the clamp that holds it in place, cut it and remove the old boot. Replace the spring and the new knob, insert the top part of the boot and secure it under the knob, place the base back in its seat and lock it in place.
