How to Replace the Front Strut of the Fiat Doblo

To replace the front strut on a Fiat Doblo, first open the bonnet and clean the strut mounting bolts with WD40 spray. Using a 13 mm socket, loosen the bolt, then use a 7 mm socket to loosen the nuts on the right front wheel and lift the car; remove the wheel completely.

Next, remove the brake line and with a 19 mm socket, remove the nuts that secure the strut to the hub, then support the hub and remove the bolts with a drift pin. Finish by unscrewing the hub and completely unscrewing the top of the strut to extract the spring.

Now, proceed with the installation of the new strut.

Start by inserting the spring into the compression support, press and remove the strut, the dampers, and the hydraulic compressor. Continue by inserting the new parts and follow the same procedure in reverse order.
