How to Replace the Alternator on a Fiat

Begin by releasing the bonnet from the appropriate lever and lifting it, securing it with the prop rod. Next, disconnect the battery terminals to protect any delicate circuits. Remove the belt by rotating the tensioner pulley clockwise. Disconnect the connectors attached to the alternator to free it from any components installed on it, then remove the bolts securing it to extract it properly, making space between the various conduits. Finally, retrace the steps described for reassembly of the components.
