Let's see how to replace the cap of the external rearview mirror of the Ford Fiesta MK6. To do this operation, we will need a plastic spatula; tilt the mirror glass out of the housing, and with the help of the plastic spatula, release the mirror glass from its attachment; disconnect the electrical connectors located on the back of the mirror, lift the clips of the cover of the external rearview mirror from their position, always using the plastic spatula; do not use excessive force in doing this operation, or we may damage the part; remove the mirror cover and replace it with the new one, aligning the attachment points. Connect the electrical connectors and reposition the glass/mirror in its place; make sure to hear the "click" of successful engagement.
