This guide explains how to replace the outer mirror cover on a Ford Fiesta MK6. You will need a plastic spatula for this operation; tilt the mirror glass out of its housing, and using the spatula, free the glass from its mounting. Disconnect the electrical connectors located at the back of the mirror, lift the clips of the outer mirror cover from their position, always using the plastic spatula; do not apply excessive force during this operation, or you may damage the part. Remove the mirror cover and replace it with the new one, aligning the attachment points. Reconnect the electrical connectors and reposition the glass/mirror in place; ensure you hear the "click" indicating it is secured.
