How do you remove the dashboard from a Ford Focus? Let's carefully see how to proceed with the disassembly in this video. Use a socket wrench to undo the securing screws of the side and lower trim of the steering wheel. Next, remove the airbag by undoing the screws present. Once the airbag is removed, take out the central anchoring pin and remove the steering wheel. Disassemble the central plastic tunnel, then undo the glove compartment located in the dashboard (disconnect various terminals), and remove the radio from the dashboard along with the attached plastics. Use a screwdriver to undo the dashboard (securing pins at the bottom) along with the air vents. Finally, carefully remove the dashboard from the vehicle body, taking care not to damage the side trim.
