The following steps will show you how to remove and replace the diesel filter of the Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi. First, open the bonnet of the vehicle and begin by removing the plastic protective cover; you will find the diesel filter on the side, as shown in the video.

Next, disconnect the diesel pipe and the electrical connector of the filter by pressing the side clips.

Unscrew the bracket screw to remove the filter, replacing the cartridge with a new one. Then, refit the new diesel filter by applying the reverse procedure!
