Today, you will learn how to remove and replace the diesel filter on a second-generation Ford Focus. First, open the bonnet of your car and use a socket wrench to remove the screws from the engine protection cover: then unscrew the bolts of the diesel filter using a socket wrench with an extension.

At this point, disconnect the various diesel pipes by pressing on the clips to loosen them; then remove the old filter by pulling it upwards. Install the new one (preferably the original) and reconnect the pipes, finally tightening the screws.
