To replace the injectors on the Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi, it is necessary to open the hood to access the engine compartment, so that the plastic panel on the top of the engine block can be removed. By removing this cover, it will be possible to access the coils, disconnecting their respective connectors and accessing the underlying injectors. These can then be removed from their housing and replaced with new replacement parts. After the replacement, it will be possible to reconnect the coils to the injectors and reinstall the upper engine panel.
