First of all, we get on board the car and start by removing the handbrake boot, unclipping it on the sides; then we use a socket wrench to tighten the nut of the handbrake cable, pulling it to reduce the lever travel, as shown in the video. In order for this operation to be successful, it is necessary that the brakes and pads are in good condition; in general, the handbrake lever should not make more than five clicks.
