Replacing Cabin Air Filter on Ford Ecosport

Replacing the cabin air filter on this car model is not a straightforward task as the filter is located just behind the centre console, but to access it, some trim elements need to be removed. Start by disengaging the trim at the base of the gear lever gaiter, then detach the rear covering of the tunnel to allow the removal of the trim on the passenger side of the tunnel. At this point, the cap of the filter container will be visible; to remove it, you must also take off the panel located just below the glove compartment. Only now can you replace the filter.
