The guide shows how to remove and clean the Ford EcoSport Mk1 cabin filter. The first step is to move the passenger seat all the way back and detach the clip securing the side panel of the center console of the dashboard in order to expose the filter housing. After opening the door of the air filter compartment, it can be removed and replaced or cleaned. Cleaning of the filter, not recommended for reasons of hygiene, can be carried out using a compressor and a brush. However, it is advisable to replace the filter and clean the housing with a vacuum cleaner.
