Replacement of the battery of a Ford Escape with a 48 AGM group

In this video, we can see how the owner of this Ford Escape replaced his 12-volt battery, which often went dead, with a 48-volt AGM group. The battery of the Ford Escape is located in the trunk, bolted under the spare tire, which must be removed. Once removed, we must of course disconnect the negative pole of the battery before proceeding with other operations, then we can remove the metal plate that secures the battery to the frame of the car. The battery is then secured by two additional bolts. The new one we are going to install is larger, so we will need to open the hole for fixing it in the furthest position. Let's secure it, reconnect it, and secure it with the metal bracket. Now we can put the spare tire and the trunk floor back in place.
