Detailed instructions - In this guide, we will see step-by-step instructions on how to disassemble and replace the battery of the Ford Escape, as well as the Kuga. First, open the hood of the vehicle and start by removing the plastic cover of the battery, then remove the cover and the entire air filter box (disconnecting the intake hose); then disconnect both battery terminals (positive and negative), unscrewing the bracket screw to remove it. At this point, install the new battery, of the correct type and with the same amperage, inserting it in the correct way into the battery compartment.
