In this tutorial, we will see how to replace the starter motor in a Ford F-150 pickup truck. This is a simple operation but requires good manual skills. First, let's make sure that the engine is completely cold, then we will lift the front side of the vehicle, taking all necessary safety precautions. Next, we will open the hood, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, go underneath the vehicle, and disconnect the three terminals of the starter motor by unscrewing the corresponding nuts with a 13mm and a 10mm wrench. At this point, we just need to unscrew the three mounting bolts, remove the starter from its housing, position the replacement part, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
