Let's see in this video how to adjust the handbrake of a Ford Focus MK3: first, we need to remove the handbrake cover, which comes off easily with the help of a plastic spatula, as it is only held in place by pressure. To make the job easier, it's advisable to push the driver's seat all the way back to have enough space. Now that the mechanism is exposed, we notice a screw located on the right side of the handbrake lever, and it is from there that we will adjust the tension of the lever using a 13mm wrench and an extension. The correct adjustment is three to four clicks at most, so we adjust accordingly. Once it's in place, we put the boot back, pressing on the clips to secure it, and we're done.
