In this article, with the support of the video tutorial below, we will see how to adjust the handbrake of the Ford Focus 3rd series. The procedure requires a 13-millimeter socket wrench. To adjust the handbrake on our Ford Focus, we should get into the car, then lever with our hands at the appropriate point to apply pressure on the hook and thus remove the plastic cover. Once the plastic cover is removed, we will have access to the handbrake cable, which we can adjust by tightening the appropriate bolt using the 13-millimeter socket wrench. Once the handbrake is adjusted by applying pressure with our hands, we can reinsert the protective plastic cover and the procedure will be complete.
