How to remove and change the damaged number plate bulbs on a Ford Fiesta. Using a screwdriver or plastic trim tool, remove the number plate light unit located in the rear bumper of the car. Once the light unit is removed, extract the bulb holder and disconnect the bulb from it. Fit the new LED bulb (same size and voltage) into the bulb holder, then refit the light unit into the metal of the tailgate, pressing down until the clips lock automatically. Test the correct operation of the previously fitted bulb.
