In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the gear shift knob in the Ford Focus, a very simple and quick operation. First, let's go inside the cabin, then we detach the frame at the base of the boot, preferably using a plastic spatula. Next, we grab the knob, remove it from the shaft by unscrewing it forcefully, and separate it from the boot by prying off the retaining ring with a flathead screwdriver. At this point, all that's left to do is attach the replacement to the boot using the same ring and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
