How to Remove the Interior Rear View Mirror from a Ford Fiesta

Let's see how to remove the interior rear view mirror from a Ford Fiesta: tilt the mirror fully upwards to expose the mounting base. There are two small holes or notches (one at the top and one at the bottom) that provide access to the clip spring. Using a small flathead screwdriver, insert it into the lower notch and gently pry to release the spring clips. Work gradually while prying. Once the clip is released, the mirror will detach from the base on the windscreen. For mounting the new one, it should slide onto the existing base, but if this is damaged, some kits include a new base to be glued to the windscreen with the appropriate adhesive.
